Orange County Park System (a.k.a. Rock Springs), Apopka, FL.
From I-4 exit 92 follow SR 436 west 6.5 miles and merge into US 441. Continue North (west) for 0.7 miles to center of Apopka. Turn right on 435 (Park Ave/Rock Springs Road) at Walgreens. Follow 435 north 5 miles to light, where road turns sharp left. Turn right. Park entrance is 0.2 miles.
Park Entry Fee: $3/Car (1 or 2 Persons) or $5/Car (3 or more)
Note: NO PETS ALLOWED within the park, with or without leashes.
Due to the fact that Park Ave is sometimes closed to traffic, the following alternative routes can be used:
From the East (I4):
From I-4 exit 92 follow SR 436 west 4.7 miles. Turn right on Wekiva Springs Rd (major junction with Albertsons plaza on your Left.)
Go 2.2 miles and turn Left onto Welch Rd.
Go 2.4 miles and turn Right onto Rock Springs Rd, then follow main directions above.
From the West on 441:
Turn left on Lake Ave. (About 0.9 miles past 417 junction. This is a 'double' junction with the street sign set way back. You may not see the sign from 441. Lake is the next road after Washington.)
Stay on Lake for 3 blocks AFTER you pass the lake, on your right. Then turn right onto Martin.
Turn Left onto Rock Springs Rd (at traffic light) then follow main directions above.
