JROTC Championship Series - Registration

  1. Early registration is encouraged and ends 15 days prior to each event.
Refer to the registration form for fees. Host schools may or may not choose to accommodate late entries and may apply added fees for late entries.
It is very important that schools register early so that FLO can receive an accurate map count to print for the event. This will allow us to receive pre-printed maps instead of blanks, when available.

  2. Registration forms, Team Rosters, and fees will be collected by the Host school.
Contact information will be posted on the events page.
In the event a Host school is not identified, contact the JROTC Coordinator.

  3. Upon arrival at the event, proceed to the JROTC registration table and pick up your control/waiver forms. (If you did not pick these up at a prior event.)

  4. Complete these forms and return them to the Registration table. Make sure all information is correct for the competitors.
Clue sheets may be handed out at this time.

  5. At the Start table, cadets will form a straight line that corresponds with the course they are going to compete in. The lines will be formed so that each school will be represented before a second cadet from the same school appears. This order should be followed for the rest of the line. Each of the lines will follow the same school order but the starting schools should be staggered, so that different schools are starting at the same time.

  6. Each start time (at one or two minute intervals) will have one cadet on each of the three courses, from different schools, starting together.

  7. Maps will be given to the competitor, individually, when their time begins. This assumes that FLO prepares pre-marked maps. Otherwise, master maps will be provided and courses will be copied onto maps by each cadet, on the clock.

  8. When competitors finish they will report immediately to the finish table.
ALWAYS report in - whether or not you successfully finished the course.
