The Florida Orienteering Club is proud to be co-hosting a USOF sanctioned Class A Meet with members of the US Orienteering Team. This event is designed as a fund raiser for the US Orienteering team.
FRIDAY, Feb. 24, 2006: Get a Fast Start with a Sprint. Courses: Sprint, White and Yellow.
Event Location: Ocala National Forest - Woodpecker West.
SATURDAY, Feb. 25 & SUNDAY, Feb. 26, 2006: TWO (2) DAYS of Orienteering, on a full set of courses designed by members of
the US Orienteering Team.
Event Location: Ocala National Forest - Woodpecker Hill.
All those planning to compete in these events MUST pre-register using the link below.
Those planning to attend the event on a non-competative basis may sign up at the event itself.
Recreational (AKA Wayfarer) courses are available on Saturday and Sunday; Starting between 12-2 pm. White, Yellow, Orange and Green recreational courses will be available.
For A-meet runners: Whistles are mandatory on the courses. We will have them for sale at the event for $1.

Camping is available at Doe Lake for $2 per person per night. Contact Toby Hensen for details and reservations. Also offering campers a spaghetti dinner (Sat) for $5, and breakfast Sat/Sun for $3 (pancakes, eggs and sausage)
FLO T-Shirts will be available at a special price of $15. These use a high tech wicking material, favoured by the Adventure Racers, that regularly retail for $30+.

Winners of Days 2 and 3 in all competitive classes (with the exception of Open categories) will receive gift certificates valid towards the purchase of merchandise from Scarborough Orienteering, including items in the Suunto and Brunton catalogs.
